Warmly welcome new CofC students and their families to campus by volunteering for Maroon Move-In 2023! Alumni volunteers will NOT be physically moving, unloading, or loading items; they will be greeting students and families and giving out snacks and water.
Alumni, parents, and friends are welcome to register for up to two shifts on Wednesday, August 16; Friday, August 18; and Saturday, August 19. Two-hour shifts are on a first-come, first-served basis. Locations and duties include: Towell Library (greeting volunteers and giving out t-shirts), Berry Residence Hall (handing out snacks and water to students/families moving in), and using two Golf Carts delivering snacks and water to students/families moving in throughout campus).
Alumni volunteers will check in at Towell Library to receive their complimentary Maroon Move-In Volunteer Bella+Canvas soft t-shirt (midnight navy) to be worn during volunteer shifts. Volunteers will not be ticketed if they park in H Lot (next to 13 Coming St.) or AD Lot (behind Addlestone Library; do not park in spots labeled “24/7”). Some residential street parking may also be available.
Step one: Register below to participate in Maroon Move-In and look for your confirmation email*. The last day to register is Tuesday, August 15, while slots are available.
Step two: Sign up for a maximum of two volunteer shifts using the Sign Up Genius link in your confirmation email. Shifts are on a first-come, first-served basis, and only the shifts available will appear. You are not fully signed up until you successfully register for shifts through Sign Up Genius. The last day to sign up for shifts is Wednesday, August 16, while slots are available.
Your $10 registration fee is a donation to the CofC Alumni Association, supporting programs and scholarships for the College, and includes a Bella+Canvas soft t-shirt.
