Steve Coker recently retired from his career in healthcare. He earned his MS in botany from the University of South Carolina and his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1974. He and his wife, Joanne, reside in Florence, SC.

Mary Sloan Roby has recently retired and volunteers as a tree steward. Ms. Roby resides in Roanoke, VA.

Anthony “Tony” Youmans is the Director of the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon and the Old Slave Mart Museum. Mr. Youmans is an Honorary Member of the Washington Light Infantry. He and his wife, Stephany, reside in Charleston, SC, with their two children.

Lenora Plowden James recently retired from his insurance career. She and her husband, Kenneth, reside in Altamonte Springs, FL.

Bert “Skip” Utsey, III is an Attorney and Partner at Clawson Fargnoli Utsey, LLC. Mr. Utsey was recently named a Fellow in the International Society of Barristers, an invitation-only organization for trial attorneys. He and his wife, Judy, reside in Charleston, SC, with their two children. Mr. Utsey recently made a gift to the Parents Fund.

Michael “Mike” Finch, Jr. is a Pediatrician at Sandhills Pediatrics. Mr. Finch earned his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1990. He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Columbia, SC.

Melissa Roberts Lekan is a Paralegal at J. Stein Law Firm. She and her husband, Jerry, reside in Dunwoody, GA.  

Kimberly Hair McElveen is the Associate Dean and Chair of Pathology and Clinical Sciences at Mercer University School of Medicine. Ms. McElveen earned her MS in Management from Troy University in 1995 and her EdD in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University in 2007. She has authored more than 50 scholarly works published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national conferences. She and her husband, John, reside in Richmond Hill, GA.

David Frederiksen is a Brand and Communications Manager at Golden Mean Health. Mr. Frederiksen recently published his debut novel, The Beautiful Club, about his freshman year at the College. He and his wife, Julie, reside in Wilmington, NC, with their daughter.

Kelly Clark recently accepted the position of Senior Vice President at Allen Architectural Metals. Ms. Clark resides in Denver, CO.  

Dawn Lott Wilson is a Controller at Atlantic Electric, LLC. She and her husband, Christopher, reside in Goose Creek, SC, with their son.

Amanda Bunting Comen works in Marketing and Communications for the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Comen was recently awarded a 2026 Charleston American Marketing Association Spark Award for Best E-Newsletter. She and her husband, Kyle, reside in Mount Pleasant, SC, with their son.

James “Stan” Nix is a Nuclear Reactor Maintenance Technician at Duke Energy. He and his wife, Adrienne, reside in Pickens, SC, with their two children.

William “Gray” McDowell is a Consulting Manager of Strategy and Transformation at Capgemini Invent. Mr. McDowell earned his MS in human resources and labor relations from Penn State University in 2012. He recently published a book, Crafting a Corporate Camelot: Where Leadership Becomes Legend. He resides in Jacksonville, FL.

Taylor Cain Ramp is an Instructor of Sport and Entertainment Management at the University of South Carolina. Ms. Ramp earned her MA in sport administration from Belmont University in 2011. She was awarded Teacher of the Year at the University of South Carolina. She and her husband, Douglas, reside in Leesville, SC, with their three children.

Lauren O’Connell Parra recently opened her luxury hair salon, Olliver Lux Hair Society, in downtown Charleston. She and her husband, Xavier, reside in Charleston, SC, with their two children.

William Bayles is a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA. Mr. Bayles resides in Charlotte, NC.

Mallie Salerno Romanowski is an External Affairs Manager at Coriell Institute for Medical Research. She and her husband, Zach, reside in Philadelphia, PA.

Melissa Jacobs Connell was recently accepted into the College’s EdD program and will begin in Summer 2026. Ms. Connell resides in North Charleston, SC. 

Alyssa Johnson is a Program Specialist at UCAR. She and her husband, Garrett Boudinot ’15, welcomed their first child on June 3, 2025. The family resides in Nederland, CO.  

Eleanor Sheers is the Owner and Teacher at Forth Studio and recently opened her second location. Ms. Sheers resides in Chicago, IL.

Daisy Schwarz married Erich Budelmann on September 27, 2025. The couple resides in Atlanta, GA.

Christian Jablonski is a Manager of Luxe Partnership Development for the Houston Texans. He resides in Houston, TX. Mr. Jablonski recently made a gift to the School of Business Dean’s Excellence Fund.

Christian Kirby Roper is a Graduate and Online Admissions Counselor at Lander University. Ms. Roper earned her MS in emergency management from Lander University. She and her husband, Wiley, married on November 22, 2025, and reside in Greenwood, SC.

Nathalie Fallon is a Mental Health Counselor. Ms. Fallon earned her MEd from The Citadel in 2025. She resides in Mount Pleasant, SC.  

Aubree “Bunny” Johnson is a STAR Program Coordinator at the Medical University of South Carolina. Ms. Johnson resides in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Sofia Castronovo Bright is an Inventory Operations Assistant at San Lorenzo Bikinis. She and her husband, James, married on October 10, 2025, and reside in Pearl City, HI.  

Christina Nguyen is a Research Associate at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. Ms. Nguyen is pursuing her PhD from the University of Alabama with plans to graduate in 2030. She resides in Huntsville, AL.
