Supporting the mission of the College and its history

The College of Charleston and the education it provides have opened doors leading to success for many of our alumni. There are many ways to give back to the College of Charleston that can positively affect the lives of current students as well as your own.

Show Your Pride with a CofC license plate 

• Get a College of Charleston license plate and show your pride everywhere you go!

Attend Events

• Participate in alumni events and programs
• Support Alumni Chapter Leaders with regional alumni efforts

Volunteer Your Time

• Serve as a class reunion coordinator
• Help the Alumni Association staff with administrative or event-related projects

Become a Mentor

• Provide a current student/young alum with insight into a career field that cannot be found in a textbook
• Return to class as a guest lecturer in your area of expertise.

Recruit Students to CofC

• Sign up to be a member of Cougar PAWS (Parents & Alumni Working with Students)
• Serve as the College’s ambassador at College Fairs
• Plan, host, or attend an Admissions reception to recruit students to attend the College

Give to the College of Charleston

• Make an annual gift to the College of Charleston Fund
• Support Alumni Association Scholarships
• Give to an area of the College that you are passionate about
• Consider a planned gift for the future
