The College of Charleston is an important resource for students and alumni throughout all stages of their careers. The Alumni Association offers resources for mid-career to experienced job seekers. As an alumnus of the College of Charleston and a member of the Alumni Association, you have access to exclusive resources that can help you along your career path. A complete profile, along with regular participation on the site, and involvement in relevant groups will make your profile attractive to recruiters. LinkedIn also offers job postings for employers and provides a robust job search function with easy filters to find the right positions to which to apply.

Resume resources for experienced job seekers

Your resume should be a concise, well-organized document showcasing your skills, experiences, achievements, and education. It is designed to capture the attention of a potential employer and land you an interview. For experienced job seekers, a reverse-chronological resume and a professional summary are recommended. Your resume should not exceed two pages.

Continuing Education at the College of Charleston

The Center for Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) at the College of Charleston School of Business provides education opportunities to help you advance your career. General Career Services for Entry-level job seekers

The Career Center serves all students and alumni who are looking for an internship, entry-level job or applying to graduate school. The Center offers a variety of services including career counseling, job search strategy, resume writing, and interviewing techniques.
