Charles Wright retired from his career as a Dentist. Mr. Wright earned his BS in pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1979 and his DMD in 1986. He resides in Murrells Inlet, SC. 

1992

Robert “Rob” Durland, Jr., has retired from his career in the Army. Mr. Durland earned his MS in leadership in 2026. He resides in Augusta, GA. 

Lisa Pickett retired from her career at Columbus Air Force Base as a Chief Master Sergeant. During her 30 years of service, she earned two Legions of Merit, along with many other decorations. Ms. Pickett earned her MS in health services and wellness promotion from Independence University in 2011. She resides in Beavercreek, OH.

Sarah Brown is a School Counselor for the Charleston County School District. Ms. Brown earned her MEd in counselor education from The Citadel in 2002 and her EdD in educational leadership from Charleston Southern University in 2023. She resides in Charleston, SC.

Camille Allen Harrelson is the Superintendent of Long Lake CSD. Ms. Harrelson earned her MEd in elementary education from Coastal Carolina University in 1998 and her EdD in educational leadership from Sage College in 2020. She and her husband, James, reside in Glens Falls, NY.

Mary Cobb Carnahan is the Tech Express Director at Louisiana Tech University. Ms. Carnahan earned her MA in accounting from Louisiana Tech University in 2024. She and her husband, Allen, reside in Choudrant, LA.

Charlene Meissner Woods, MEd, is a Teacher with the Berkeley County School District. Ms. Woods is engaged to Richard Gano III and plans to marry in 2027. She resides in Moncks Corner, SC.

Amanda Bunting Comen is a Marketing and Communications Specialist at the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Comen was recently named Charleston Women Magazine‘s She Shines Social Media Professional and received the Charleston American Marketing Association’s Spark Award for Best E-Newsletter. She and her husband, Kyle Comen ’03, reside in Charleston, SC, with their son.

Kristin Halvorson is an Adjunct Professor at the College of Charleston. Ms. Halvorson earned her MA in history from the College of Charleston/The Citadel and her MA in Egyptology from the University of Chicago. She resides in Charleston, SC. 

Heather Richie recently graduated from the South Carolina Commercial Seafood Apprenticeship Program. Following the program, Ms. Richie participated in a commercial fisheries training program in Ireland. She has since opened the Charleston branch of her UK-based company, Fisher & Farmer. She resides in Charleston, SC.

Frances Stern is Legal Counsel at Pinnacle/Synovus Bank. Ms. Stern earned her JD from the Charleston School of Law in 2008 and her LLM in intellectual property law from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2013. She resides in Smyrna, GA, with his two children.

Kate Guthrie is the Executive Director of Under One Roof, Inc. Ms. Guthrie resides in Norwalk, CT, with her daughter.

Dr. Dana Truesdale is a Military Veteran. Dr. Truesdale recently earned her EdD in adult learning from Walden University. She resides in Cassatt, SC.

Alyssa Caparaso Frisby is a Registered Dietitian and Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Ms. Frisby earned her MA in nutrition sciences from the University of Central Arkansas in 2021. She also co-hosts Arkansas Taste Kitchen, a statewide public television series that teaches culinary skills and nutrition. She and her husband, Matthew, reside in Lonoke, AR, with their daughter. 

Michael Jowers is a Staff Nurse at Remain at Home Senior Care. Mr. Jowers earned his LPN from Midlands Technical College in 2018. He and his wife, Adrian Stewarts ’09, reside in Saluda, SC, with their son. 

Madison “Mado” Smith is an Artist whose series of paintings is currently featured in Our Orlando at the Mennello Museum of American Art in Orlando, FL. In 2025, Mr. Smith was awarded an Individual Artist Grant from United Arts of Central Florida. He resides in Winter Park, FL. 

Samuel “Sam” Smith is the Director of Enterprise Risk Management at Chubb Limited. Mr. Smith earned his MBA in finance and international business from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in 2019. He and his wife, Ashton, reside in Lexington, SC.

Jessica “AsheLynne” Jordan is an Administrative Manager at Novant Health. She and her husband, Chris Fulghum, reside in Charlotte, NC. 

Kaitlyn Stokes Ladnier is the Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting at AltaPointe Health Systems, Inc. Ms. Ladnier earned her MBA from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2014. She recently had the honor of speaking at the Premier Healthcare GPO Conference in Washington, D.C. She and her husband, Kenneth, reside in Grand Bay, AL, with their two children.

Michael Blackburn is the Executive Director of Infrastructure Engineering at JPMorgan Chase. He and his wife, Lindsey Wilcox Blackburn ’03, reside in Mount Pleasant, SC, with their daughter. 

Julie Driscoll recently founded Charleston Dental Studio, a wellness and esthetic dentistry practice. Ms. Driscoll earned her DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2019 and her AEGD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. She resides in Charleston, SC. 

Andrew “Drew” Morgan owns a performance psychology business that works with athletes, entrepreneurs, and business executives. Mr. Morgan earned his MS in sport and performance psychology and his MBA from John F. Kennedy University in 2018. He and his wife, Alexis Sorbara ’12, reside in Charleston, SC, with their daughter.
