Henry “Biemann” Othersen Jr. is a retired Professor of Surgery Emeritus from the Medical University of South Carolina. Mr. Othersen earned his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1953. He and his wife, Janelle, reside in Charleston, SC. He recently contributed to the Alumni Greek Life Scholarships and the Cougar Club.

1977

Randall “Randy” Rhea recently retired from Standard Motor Products, Inc. after a successful sales career. Mr. Rhea was recently recognized by his fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, for his fifty years of service. He and his wife, Marcia Chandler Rhea ’81, reside in Johns Island, SC.

1979

Laura Sloan Crosby recently co-authored A Collection of Lowcountry Baskets, a color catalogue featuring a basket collection she and her colleague initiated in the 1970s. The collection included 227 baskets made in coastal South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina areas. She and her husband, Birdie, reside in Summerville, SC.

Sheila Riley Warren is a Logistics Management Specialist at the Department of Defense, USMC. Ms. Warren earned her MEd in athletic training from the University of Redlands. She resides in Woodbridge, VA, with her son.

1985

Elizabeth Stevens is the Vice President for Mission and Communications at Bishop Gadsden. Ms. Stevens resides in Charleston, SC.

1988

Wayne “Morgan” Morgan Jr. is a defense lawyer at Wayne R. Morgan, Jr. Attorney at Law. Mr. Morgan earned his JD from the University of Richmond and recently celebrated 35 years in private practice. Over the course of his career, he has handled more than 15,000 criminal cases. He resides in Chesterfield, VA.

1993

Aimee Chazal McMillin is the Director of Communications in the Office of Advancement at the UT Health Science Center for the University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. Ms. McMillin earned her MA in Journalism from the University of Memphis in 1995. She and her husband, Zack, reside in Memphis, TN, with their two children.

1998

Ron Menchaca is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the College of Charleston and a member of President Hsu’s cabinet. Mr. Menchaca is currently pursuing an MFA in creative writing with plans to graduate in 2027. He and his wife, Amy, celebrated their 30th anniversary in May 2025 and reside in Charleston, SC. Their two daughters are also proud alumnae. He recently contributed to the CofC Fund.

Bryan Eastman is the CEO at Stokesman Luxury Homes. Mr. Eastman resides in Atlanta, GA, with his son.

2000

Charles “Jap-Pap” Odom is an Enforcement Project Manager at the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services. Mr. Odom earned his MPH in environmental health from Walden University in 2023 and a graduate certificate in herbal medicine from the American College of Health Sciences in 2024 and was accepted into the PhD program in biomedical sciences from the University of South Carolina. He and his husband, Michael, reside in Columbia, SC.

Allison Welker is a Public Safety Telecommunicator at Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office. Ms. Welker resides in Red Bank, NJ.

2001

Lara Caulder Byrd is the Chaplain Candidate Program Manager for the U.S. Navy. Ms. Byrd is pursuing a DM in in military chaplaincy from Wesley Theological Seminary with plans to graduate in 2027. Recently, she was promoted to the rank of Commander in the U.S. Navy. She resides in Millington, TN.

Kristen Hensley Melo is the owner of Preserve Pools LLC. In 2021, Ms. Melo received the National Pool Professional of the Year Award. She and her husband, Michael, reside in Summerville, SC, with their two children.

Sloan Newman is the ABM North America Marketing Manager at NTT DATA. Mr. Newman earned his MA in international marketing communications from London Metropolitan University in 2007 and his MS in international marketing communication strategy from ESCEM School of Business and Management Tours in 2007. He is currently publishing a book on marketing. He and his wife, Melissa, reside in Charleston, SC.

Juan Londono is the CEO of TTS Group SAS. Mr. Londono resides in Valle del Cauca, Colombia.

Kristina Riegle is the Owner and an Instructor at Riegle Voice Studio. Ms. Riegle earned her MM in vocal performance from the Boston Conservancy in 2008. She and her husband, David, reside in Rochester Hills, MI.

Alyssa Rothstein Kesselman is a Clinical Program Manager and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Ms. Kesselman earned her MSN in clinical nurse leadership at the Medical College of Georgia in 2008 and her DNP from Georgia Southern University in 2023. She recently was elected as President for the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She and her husband reside in Alpharetta, GA, with their two children.

Anthony “Tony” Williams recently earned his MS in international relations: strategic thought from Liberty University. Mr. Williams resides in Charleston, SC.

Hayley Black is the founder of Hayley Black Vintage. Ms. Black earned her MA in Professional Communication from Clemson University in 2012 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Communication from the University of North Dakota, with plans to graduate in 2027. In May 2025, she opened a luxury vintage shop in Savannah, GA, following a career in corporate sales and program management. She resides in Savannah, GA.

Maggie Hendricks recently founded Blue Monarch Consulting, a nonprofit and fundraising consulting company. Ms. Hendricks resides in Inglewood, CA.

Youlia Milenkova Bolgan is pursuing her MBA from Louisiana State University with plans to graduate in 2025. She and her husband, Ryan, reside in Savannah, GA.

Cody Donofrio is a Senior Staff Geologist at Diamondback Energy. He and his wife, Erin, reside in Midland, TX, with their son.

Jessica Foxworth is a Recruiting Operations Coordinator at Clemson School of Nursing. Ms. Foxworth earned her MEd in teaching and learning from Francis Marion University in 2021. She resides in Greenville, SC.

Megan “Meg” Wallace is an Assistant Professor at the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center at the Medical University of South Carolina. Ms. Wallace earned her MSW in clinical social work from the University of South Carolina in 2015 and is currently pursuing her DSW in advanced clinical practice and leadership at the University of Tennessee–Knoxville with plans to graduate in 2028. Ms. Wallace recently co-authored her first book, Treating Traumatic Loss: A Clinician’s Guide to Helping Clients Cope with a Sudden, Violent, or Difficult Death Using the GRIEF Approach. She resides in Charleston, SC.

Damian Nelson is a Teacher at Prince George County Public Schools. Mr. Nelson earned his MAT in elementary education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2021 and is pursuing his MEd in special education from Bowie State University with plans to graduate in 2027. Cathryn Schrader is a Pediatric Critical Care Pharmacist at Children’s of Alabama. Ms. Schrader earned her PharmD from the University of Georgia in 2019. She married Bradley Edmonds in May 2025, and the couple resides in Birmingham, AL.

Naomi Edmondson Damm is a Senior Grant Writer at Elevate. Ms. Damm earned her MA in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020. In April 2025, she married Nick Damm ’15, and the couple reside in Morehead City, NC.

Anna Collett Duke is a Nurse Practitioner at VIO Med Spa. Ms. Duke earned her DNP in family nurse practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2024. Anna and her husband, Riley, welcomed a daughter in April 2025; they reside in Atlanta, GA.
