CofC Alumni Association Representative on the Board of Trustees
Every four years, the College of Charleston Alumni Association has the opportunity to select one member of the CofC Board of Trustees.
To be eligible, a candidate must be a South Carolina resident and hold an undergraduate or graduate degree from the College of Charleston. To apply for consideration, candidates must submit a letter of intent by 5 pm on February 1, 2022. Letters may be mailed, hand-delivered, or emailed to [email protected], and should be addressed to:

If you are eligible and interested in being considered for this position, please include your qualifications and the reasons you wish to serve as a Trustee in your letter. For more information about the responsibilities of the Board of Trustees, please visit the Board of Trustees website.
The Alumni Association’s Nominating Committee will review the letters of intent and recommend a nominee to be included in the slate of candidates for approval by the general membership. Upon approval of the slate, the nominee will be appointed by the Governor of South Carolina to serve on the Board of Trustees for a term of four years beginning on July 1, 2022, until his/her successor is appointed.
